I see them on a lot of trucks here in Texas. They seem to be popular amongst the light/medium duty pickup truck crowd.

I've also seen them on a handful of 4Runners.

Beyond that I couldn't tell you about the wear and tear or how good they are for off-roading or rock crawling for that matter, but they do seem to be popular.

I've looked them up before, for a no-name brand they're not very inexpensive, and if I remember right, they don't seem to have a lot of size options.

In this day and age.. who cares.... It is all about quality and price.
I hear ya and I’m all for saving money. That said, when it comes to tires that connect the Jeep my family is riding in to the road I’m buying the best I can afford. When my OEM BFG’s either wear or age out I’ll be looking at some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss’ 😉

Are you asking for input on them or something?

It's hard to fathom that they'd be decent in mud with that tread pattern. Yes, it has "mud" in the name, but a good mud tire is designed to eject mud as quickly as possible.

Ain't that the truth. I recently purchased a set of 37x12.5r17 Sailun Teramax RT tires from Walmart for it was like $210 or something like that per tire, they were brand new on the market at the time. Wasn't a lot. It's a really nice RT, it's been super awesome for the rock crawling I've done the last 4 months. The wear is definitely fairly substantial. They don't wear down slowly at all. I'm about maybe 10,000 mi on them and needing to do a rotation, and I'll probably get about maybe a year more out of them before I need to replace them. Especially if I keep doing rock crawling.

That being said for rock crawling the rubber is extremely soft and ideal for such activities. Unfortunately I do a lot of highway driving so that's where my wear and tear's coming from. I would guess if you don't do a lot of highway driving, I do 40 miles a day minimum, then the tires will probably last you a lot longer.

You know considering the price of them, as much as I love the idea of purchasing a set of purchasing a set of Baja Boss ATs, I'll probably just get another set of these Sailun Teramax RTs when these ones go out. Mostly because of the price, but also because of how good they are for rock crawling which is what I prefer to do off-road.

They are made in China or Vietnam, but kind of like you said I don't care where they made. And I know from experience now that they are really good quality tires as long as you don't mind them wearing out quickly if you do a lot of highway driving. But that's probably true with most AT/RT and especially MT tires. I know guys who go through MT tires, a full set every year. They don't last forever.

I will say too the Sailun tires I have have a 60,000 mi warranty, but I've never used those warranties, and I probably won't. but if you're the kind of person who does, that's a good thing.

37" Sailun Terramax RT - Walmart

I'll probably switch up my wheels whenever I do replace these tires though. As much as I love my interlock technology on the icon rebound pros I have, it's kind of ****ing annoying having to pull out 64 interlocking bolts so that I can save $600 on the tire install. (My local off-roading shop charges $250 to install tires on beadlocks, but only $100 to install oversized tires on regular wheels)

Sorry I don't have any quarters sitting around and all of my tread depth measuring tools are broken or lost and I haven't gotten around to replacing them yet, so here's a d-ring which is something every off-roader should have to help indicate tread depth. 😁

Get me wrong, there's still a lot of tread on there, especially after I rotate the back tires forward, but it is wearing out a lot quicker than I thought it would.

Chinese garbage.

Tires are the most important thing on your vehicle, don't cheap out.

I love cheap tires! Delium, Fortune and Milestar round out my current inventory. When I bought my Falken At3s they where the cheapest AT tire at the time. With that said I would probably not buy Venom Power or a few other brands because of poor reputation.
