Tire pressure recommendations??

Resurrecting this thread. New jeep to me 2022 Rubicon. Original owner upgraded it to 285/70/17 Yokohama Geolander AT.
In India the Rubi came with 255 BFGOODRICH MT.
So I filled in 37psi and damn the ride is hard and unsettling. It was running at 32-33 when I picked it up and was very planted. Now its kind of bouncy. What would be a good tire pressure be?

Back to 32/3 would be a good starting point. You didn’t mention load range, maybe 30/2 if E then go from there, chalk etc.

No, it will be marked as "Load Range C", "Load Range D" or "Load Range E".

It says 117T on the side. is that the load index?

That number is the speed index. What the max speed that tire is rated for.

I couldnt find that alphabet but it does say MAX LOAD 1285kg/ 2833lbs

117 is the load index. T is the speed rating.

I would try 30 psi in these tires.
