From my motorcycle days that would be an indication of underinflated tire. Underinflated tire tend to generate a lot of heat and kill the rubber.

Thank you for this. I looked into it and what happens with under inflated tires and you are on point.

I will set them to about 35-36 for street driving and see how it goes. Sticker on door says 37, but I find that a little firm once they heat up.
