Tire Install?

Once you purchase new tires, where do you take them to be installed? Some places won’t do it if they’re not the manufactures required size. Will most shops do rims and tires? Not sure where to start

I just install them myself. You can even even break your own bead on your oem wheel/tire combo and install new tires to your oem wheels yourself. YouTube has some good videos showing you how to do this without expensive equipment.

I just happened to be in a store yesterday. With tax it seems to come out to around $150 locally. Just call and give them the tire specs and wheel spec. That way you don’t waste trip. I think Discount Tire is on the forum here and can probably answer to their policy.

Discount Tires installed mine. They did ask me if they were new tires with the sticker still on them.

I typically buy my tires from Discount Tire Direct because total cost with replacement certificates is typically a good deal cheaper than purchasing the same tires/certificates from Discount Tire.com or my local Discount Tire store. I then take them to my local DT for install. As long as I show them the receipt from DTD they charge me $20/tire install, but if you don’t buy them from DT they charge $60/tire - which I personally feel is ridiculous.
