Today I received and installed my new wheels and tires from @Discount Tire, the guys there worked with me to get what I wanted.

  • Wheels - (5 x) Pro Comp 05 Series Torq, 17x8 - Matte Black 4.5l b/s
  • Tires - (5 x) BF Goodrich LT285/70R17 KO2 - C rated
  • Black spline Lug Nut Set

I started out with my stock Sahara

I arrived home to find that UPS had been, ordered at 5pm Saturday, delivered Wednesday

Tire and TPMS installed, and all balanced, nicely packages, spline lug nuts inside one of the wheels.

Halfway through the install.

Now on to the next thing, time for a small lift, I think that I may try a spacer to start, as I am (so is the wife) happy with the stock ride. She wouldn’t even ride in my JK or JKU!

Question 1: Any recommendations on a spacer lift (1-2”)?

Question 2: what pressure are folks running their KO2s? Mine are at 40 right now, definitely coming down.

I run 32psi cold in the front 30 psi in back but I have a 2 door and it’s a little bit lighter.
