I have an 18 Wrangler JLU with the 4 Cylinder. I don't know if this is just me but does anyone else hear a chain noise when letting off the throttle.
To describe the noise: on a bicycle, when you are cruising and stop pedaling, the chain or gear, or whatever it is, makes the noise.

Does anyone else hear this and if its normal?

I don't hear any distinct sound that occurs when I lift my right foot.

The only thing that comes to mind, and this is a long shot, is loose fasteners causing the exhaust manifold shielding to vibrate.

The 2.0T is known to sound mechanically busy, so to speak, when idling after cold starts, but that's it. When at idle after it's fully warmed up, the turbo 4 has been one of the quietest engines I've ever owned.

This is the effect of freewheeling with a multi-speed gearset. It occurs at the cassette. That's the shorthand without getting into the technical details.
