When i shift my jl into low range it bumps rpms up to 1000. Be nice if in low range it let you use cruise control buttons to set idle speed where you want it.
I've seen the throttle response enhancement tuners, looks like drag strip malarkey to me. Is there a plug in unit that let's you manually set rpms where you want them & keep your feet on the floor?

I wonder if you could use something like the Tazer JL's "Winch Mode" while in gear?

Yeah, that's called Selec Speed Control. It's cruise control for 4WD LO, 0.6 to 5 MPH.

Actually, the throttle controllers are great. I use mine to adjust the throttle more sensitive on road and desensitize it for offroad with its Eco mode. That helps prevent my jostling in the seat from translating to unwanted lurches from bouncing on the throttle.

If you have selec speed control you have offroad cruise control with adjustable speeds.

Also that thread will tell you why don't have it if that's the case.
I've got the manual 6 speed & cruise control. Looking over my window sticker, no mention of selec-speed control. Next time I'm in low range I'll have to remember to try cruise control anyway. Been assuming just like on road, it won't set below 20 or 30 mph. Might be it works like i want in low range. Selec-speed might not have been an option with manual trans.

I agree. I installed my throttle control not too long ago. The difference between stock and putting the throttle controller in ECO/OFFROAD was remarkable, especially with a manual transmission.

I see the selec-speed is also a 2021 thing, doesn't look like it existed in 2019. I'll have to ask the dealer if it's a program that can be added. Thank you!
Unfortunately, I'm 99% sure it isn't. I'm not sure when it came into play, if you read the thread I posters there is a lot of good information there as well.

You should have hill descent control. Normal cruise won't work below a certain speed, for me is 30kph, not sure what it is in Freedom units.
