I think he says, at least for many of us, that it is a midlife crisis car. Not true. For me it was a late midlife crisis car--70 next month. Basically I tell people that the Jeep can take me to places where no human being ever walked. In Arizona, which until recently, was sparsely populated for the history of the Earth, that could true. Sounds good anyway.

I don't need to go watch some guy on YouTube make fun of me, for 10 minutes. I can just log onto this Forum, talk about my personal life, and let thousands read it and make fun of me. Win Win scenario.
He really didn't. It actually felt a little jealous of some one who chose fun and freedom over pure practicality

I guess I was having a midlife crisis at age 12, because that's when I first wanted a Jeep.

"Yours may go fast, but mine can go anywhere." I had that decal on my Tuscadero, maybe I'll put it on my new Jeep too.

I guess me owning a Corvette at 28 was a Midlife crisis too. Jeep TJ at 34, another midlife crisis. A 4x4 Dodge Diesel truck at 42, another milife thing. Then, the JL Wrangler at 54, my latest. I guess this calls for an even grander, more stupid gestures, for my next Midlife Crisis. Perhaps a Harley or another Diesel Truck with a Travel Trailer?

Well, if you bought the right model Jeep it would be respectably quick and still go anywhere. ….
I had to built one capable of both 49 years ago. …
do I still qualify for a “Midlife Crisis” ? 😉

What I love the most about our jeeps is that we could have a BMW M3 parking next to us and still we look down and think… “what a piece of trash 😌 my car would crush that happy meal toy” lol

… and trust me, the bimmer owner can feel our alpha confidence 🤣
idk if satire or not lol. The BMW M3 has more in common with a jeep wrangler driver than a rav4 driver. Neither one bought their car by using a spreadsheet lol.

If I didn't have my Jeep I'd want a 2 seater sporty car. Probably a corvette.
