There are indeed an abundance of apparently rich JLUR buyers using these as second or third vehicle, and immediately throwing a lift and 35's or 37's on, only to never see off-road. All show, no go!

Fellas like me have your back. I'm planning on a base JL Sport (2 door), with only Air Conditioning and Anti-Spin Axle as options. One of very, very builds you can probably get for $30,000 out the door.

Between the $3750 one-year price hike and new, expensive options, a Rubicon can get insanely expensive now!

Lift, Wheels, and Tires so far.

Other minor upgrades are front window tint, mopar handles, floor mats, door sill protectors, and debadged the sides (haven't taken pictures since then).

That's a great looking Jeep! Personally I would take that over a Rubicon styling-wise.

My income puts me in "buy two rubicons right now" territory these days, but there's other things I wanna spend my money on, too. The entire JL line is overpriced in my opinion, and I think the market is going to showcase that once it's a couple years old, but models like the lower 2 doors and the base 4 door are nearly acceptably priced.

The top number you can sticker a JLUR to is hilarious to me. Luxury car money.

So many helpful posts on the JL Wrangler forum for Rubicon owners. I would like to start a thread for everyone except Rubcon owners to post your mods - so I can actually see thjngs that apply to the vihicle I own.

Not a lot that isn't applicable across the models. People are also still trying to figure out what the differences actually are. Tire and wheel fitment is the only big one right now until drive train updates start arriving.

Not sure what other stuff you are expecting people to post about.

I drove my JLRU the other day with the top down for the first time. Was very surprised to hear a slight growl . But I really want to upgrade that...Do you like the sound from the Magna Flow? Any chance of a video with sound?

I do not have a video but it makes the stock growl a little louder and a little deeper

What is the rub? This is a JL forum. I dont own a Wrangler, but have an intetest in them. Study the models and know what is acceptable for your rig and help others along the way. I thought being accepting and helpful was the focus.

We have a Sahara coming one of these days. Would like to run 37s, I am looking forward to seeing what people are having to do to the Sport/Sahara models to clear 37s. Didn't go rubicon because I don't plan to off-road this vehicle, and I wanted a little lift to actually clear 37s. Went Sahara because I wanted leather, proximity entry, and the 8.4in screen.

Sport S's.....ROLL OUT! Installed LED Headlights, LED Foglights, LED Switch backs. Did 20% on the front windows including the sun shade. Installed the EVO 2.5 stage 1 boost myself with the help of a buddy. Installed the Mopar door guards and fuel door....de-badged it as well.

I keep looking at these rims also, especially in that color finish.. They go well with granite!
