This is my 1st Jeep ever. Not gonna go mudding or rock crawling so I got the Sahara. Super happy with it so far! Had it for a few weeks and have added RC 2.5" spacer lift, 2"wheel spacers, Curt hitch, 4 pin trailer wiring kit and 275/70-18 KO2s on the factory wheels. That's most of what I want to do....for now. Lol

Has anyone seen the stock sahara rims plasti dipped? I want some darker rims, or maybe some takeoff rubis, but would like to see the stock sahara plasti dipped pics first.

Rubi takeoffs have the advantage of better offroad tire selections though... DECISIONS!

So I found a pic right after this post. There is an entire thread I overlooked with plasti dipped wheels. Only one stock sahara in the bunch, but it was what I was looking for.

Thanks for posting. I've wondered what the KO2's with white lettering would look like on the Sahara Tech upgraded wheels, and now I know! Looks great.

Yea, Ive been wondering all sorts of things about upgrading tires, wheels, bumpers, lights, adding a winch... Slowing finding everything on this site, but not getting much work done! lol

I will probably stick close to stock for the first year, but with better offroad tire selections for 17" rims (cheaper I think too for comparable tires) Ill probably end up with aftermarket or Rubi takeoffs eventually.

I like the sound it’s a little deeper and a little loude then stock but not an annoying loud at all

2.5 inch rough country coil lift, 2inch rough country wheel spacers, rough country dual steering stabilizer and red letter tires ( done with sharpie oil base paint marker )
