Finally! Added the AEV Dualsport 2.5 inch suspension lift, and JKS Front Trackbar.

I bought the lift from Rubitrux, to avoid sales tax, and had BlackJack Speed Shop in San Antonio, TX (authorized AEV Installer) do the installation.

Rid is much more crisp, and feels fantastic with these @lodoffroad Destroyer bumpers.

37 inch BFG KO2s coming as soon as I see a sale on them at @Discount Tire!

@BullMoose1776 how much lift did you net?
It is about 3.5 or 4 over what it was. I already had the bumpers on, so idk what it was at stock. I just know it now rides like a dream.

Rear is STILL an inch lower than the front thanks to that massive @lodoffroad rear bumper. But that a fine. I may take the basket and gas can holders off and see what happens.

Maybe I should have bought a massive front bumper too.

Regardless, I'd NEVER buy aluminum bumpers. Still happy with them.

Added the Cobra 75 to the Jeep today. All worked in, but just waiting for the Firestik to arrive, hopefully tomorrow.

I bought the Magnetic Mic to hang it on.

BFG KO2 37s installed today by @Discount Tire . Super fast and great job balancing.

I love the All-Terrains. I've had muds in the past, and I just don't want to deal with the noise. Esp once covid passes and the 45 mile round trip commute starts back up.

Stance is impacted by the 5 take-off 33s in the back that are supposed to be sold locally tomorrow.

Firestik antenna installed, with a (not so great, but it's the best I can do) SWR of just under 2. Whadda ya gonna do with no groundplane and all that other stuff back there?

More pictures this weekend.

I took the top off and now the Jeep is perfectly level!

I guess I'll have to get a soft top.

I did level out the headlights Las week as well, before I took off the hardtop. It was super simple, but is best done with 2 people, I think. As long as you get everyone out of the jeep!

Here's the tips on leveling the lights:

The formula is to measure from the ground to the center point in your headlight (look for the dimple) and subtract 2 inches for headlights up to the 48" mark and 2.5" for anything above that.

My lights measure 43.75 to center, so I measured on a flat wall 41.75 inches up from the ground, and backed my Jeep 25 feet from the wall.

then I turned the white plastic adjustment screw until the top of the passenger light touched the tape, and did the same for the driver side.

I went and drove around, waiting for someone to flash me, and got nothing.

went back and checked,,and I could see I had dipped the driver side just a tiny bit, so I raised it up and now they're great.

Whew! It's been a while since I've made any upgrades!

Today I received my Factor55 Flatlink E in Limited edition Red with Rope Guard installed! What a mouthful!

Super simple installation!

New ICOM ID-5500A just arrived as well. Will be working on that install soon. Exchanging the CB for the Ham radio.

Mock up of the Face and mic of the Icom 5100. Using the 67 Designs single arm, and replacing the mount ball.

Face is not much bigger than a flagship phone.

Groomed in the external speaker wire and dropped the windshield to bring in the faceplate data wire, over to the base unit, which is mounted in the glove box.

I think it is a very clean install, and meets my needs to have the base unit and faceplate easily transferrable between home and Jeep.

Extension wire for the mic will be delivered tomorrow.

External speaker is zip tied up. I was not crazy about drilling more holes in plastic, like with the magnetic mic, which is pulling the climate control surround away from the dash.

Coax is run to the back already and I'll tune up the foldable antenna tomorrow. More pics to come with that.
