They need to care though...because word spreads...and it may not hurt them now, but it'll hurt them later. You always want to keep your customer base reasonably happy...and these long waits are just unreasonable, every way you look at it.

I agree, FCA needs to realize that they are in the customer service industry and their inability or unwillingness to handle their current logistics issues is inexcusable to many current customers. Unfortunately with my build it was compounded by their manufacturing and supplier issues. While I know I am speaking out of frustration, I for one will not forget this experience and it really makes me question them as a company. You see the same issues on the other forums, your hear the same stories from the dealers .. I have to ask; where is the leadership in this company to not be able to handle and guide things thru the struggles that all OEMs go thru from time to time

all I can say is WOW .. my jeep has been setting in a rail yard 40 miles from my dealer since late Monday night/early Tues morning .. too much of FCA logistics to handle .. so they put it on a another train yesterday and moved it another 10 miles .. latest from my dealer is they are "hoping to have it Wed or Thursday next week .. unbelievable

Called Jeep today. They said it's in KZ-X status (delivered to dealer). ETA was 7/7... Today is 7/9...

Calling the dealer....

Ordered on 5/28 (was already showing in D status with VIN when I ordered it).
JB status 6/13
KZ status 6/27
KZ-X status delivered to dealer 7/9

12 days total in KZ status

42 days total from order to dealer.

@JeepCares should read this whole thread and ask permission to shed some light on why these delays occur and also get that info to chat and call reps. Answering the ‘why’ problems occur goes a lot further for customer sat than silence

I ordered on 6/12 and joined the KZ club on 7/6, After reading @brewcrew went KZ to KZX in 4 days I am hopeful it will be quick to the dealer but was told yesterday it’s in KZS status. No idea if other phone reps left out the S because nobody seems to really know what it means or it really changed.

@brewcrew I am working with the same dealer/salesperson as you - what did you end up doing?

I went down and picked it Saturday. There was also someone else there who couldn't wait and was picking up his 2 door sting gray.
