The Dummies Guide to JL Ordering Status

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I have a dummy question

I'm in JS as of this morning - this is on a 2.0T. Dealer says it's normal for orders to go to JS for 1-2 weeks, typically until at there are enough orders ready to fill 1/2 of a truck fo a particular dealership.

Does that sound right? Or do you think I'll sit in JS until the 2.0T/BSG/EPA questions are answered?

Considering the EPA numbers posted today, it probably is really just waiting on a truck. And yes what they told you is true.

I'm a dummy when it comes to forums and all. I ordered my new JLUR I got a email from my salesman on May 12 with a VON # 21808294 how do I track it.

It means that your order was accepted by the factory but no Vin has been assigned.

How long did you end up staying in KZS? I'm stuck in it now.

I thought so, but Jeep's customer service said they couldn't give me the code, just the description.

Mines in JB right now... hopefully it moves along quickly! I didn't order a soft top or anything like that.

I have gotten my VIN and added it to the tracking website but I don’t see where I can see what status it is in. It says neither have been FOUND.(Build Sheet and Sticker). So does that mean I cannot see what the status is until they are both found?

The crypto sticker website only tells you when your Jeep has started the build phase (build sheet found = F,G,etc) and when it’s ready to ship (window sticker found = KZ).

Order my Granite JLUR yesterday. Curious to see how long this takes. Was told 6 to 10 weeks then the dealer decides to tell me about the one customer that got theirs in 29 days just to get my hopes up.
