I just installed Teraflex lower fixed length control arms on my 2019 Sahara JLU. The new control arms do not have a bolt to mount the bracket that attaches to the brake lines. Any ideas on what to do with the bracket that is attached to the brake line still?

+1 to carefully pry it open without damaging/pinching the brake line.

Try getting two sets of vice grips. One on the big plate to hold it steady, and the other strategically placed so it "un-rolls" the existing section that curves around the line.

That’s a great idea. Thank you!

The bracket has two ears on it that are convenient for zip ties or tape, I left mine on and taped the bracket to the control arm. Will probably add strong zip ties.

Horrible markups on this picture, but hears what worked for me. Use vice grips to hold the bracket, and placed close enough to the ‘rolled edge’ to allow a flat head to slide in between it and the roll, but also wedge it under/against the roll. I can then stick the screw driver in as far as I can, use the point of the screw driver as the fulcrum point, and lift up on the handle, the shaft of the screw driver will force the rolled edge open as I lift the handle up.

Took a while to figure out side one. Side two took 30 seconds.

Does the line not need to be secured? I just don’t want it to get pinched or hung up. Debated zip ties like some mentioned. Maybe that’s a bad idea though and it’s better loose.

I took all the metal brackets off (this one from the arm and the other from the spring perch) and used the teraflex brake line anchors. Cheap and works great.

Assuming I can get the brake line bracket off (I don't have a grinder), how long should front lower control arms take to install? Hour? Couple? Seems pretty easy and I'm jonesing to install my Synergy arms that came today.

First I pried the bracket off my brake lines and that took a little while. The lower control arms are easy to replace if they are Synergy adjustableS. Put a tire Chuck on the front and back of the front tire. Remove existing LCA and install new one(do one side at a time). Since it is adjustable you can easily adjust it short enough to make the holes line up and then adjust it to the New length you want. What will probably take the longest is getting all 4 bolts torqued to 190 ft. Lbs.
