See thats where the confusion is, when its pointed in that directions its actually facing AWAY from the intake manifold in the physical sense but the "flow" is in line with the manifold. Maybe the instructions need a clearer description. Maybe something along the lines of "have the arrow facing towards the T fitting so the flow of air is towards the manifold".This has been a popular question in the past few weeks, and I can shed some light on the subject since the terminology in the instructions can be confusing. The inline PCV valve needs to have the arrow pointing towards the intake manifold, (along the hose) and away from the adapter on the oil fill neck.![]()
I've been running mine for roughly 6 months and I honestly can't remember how I installed it! I'll have to go and check it now to make sure. This has been a popular question in the past few weeks, and I can shed some light on the subject since the terminology in the instructions can be confusing. Yes, the inline PCV valve is routed correctly. On where you said the oil is leaking from, do you know if it's leaking from where the hose slides on the oil fill tube adapter or from the T fitting on the adapter itself?I've been running mine for roughly 6 months and I honestly can't remember how I installed it! Edit: @TeraFlex I'm guessing, this is the correct orientation? As a side note, I've never been able to get the fitting at the fill cap (circled in red image below) to not leak oil on the underside. It's a very small amount, but does leak. Any tips?

It looks to leak from where the hose slides onto the 90degree (barb side). Drips from the very bottom. If you run your finger on the bottom, it'll have some fresh oil on it, etc.Yes, the inline PCV valve is routed correctly. Interesting; thanks for the info. If you'd like message me the best contact info and I'll get a new set of hose/clamps shipped out to you to fix that weeping/leak you're seeing. It looks to leak from where the hose slides onto the 90degree (barb side). I've put some tape and an extra hose clamp (in photo) to tighten the hose around the adapter barb. This greatly helped, but it still has a very slow drip.
There's no evidence that I've been able to find showing the oil leaking from the oil fill side of the adapter.
The other 'T' adapter near the front of the vehicle hasn't showed any signs of leaking.
As an FYI for anyone reading this thread, the system solved the smoking issues when at high angles (as advertised) and the oil "leak" I'm describing isn't anything large enough to be of a concern from oil change to oil change. Just something that I've noticed after a few months of running the mod.
