Hi all. New to the Jeep community. I have always wanted a Jeep but have always had other toys so I came up with a genius plan to talking my wife into getting one. We will be getting it on Monday. 2018 Sahara with Dana 44 rear end. My plan is to immediately lift it. Being an outsider and always being around Jeep people I heard or assumed that teraflex was the gold stamp of lifts. So I intend on getting a 3.5 sport sts lift. And along the way upgrade that lift with adjustable arms to replace all the modified brackets. I have read the falcon shocks are to stiff and since my wife will drive it most I don’t want to discourage her with a rough ride. I have been spoiled with fox 2.0 on my Chevy and it rides like a Cadillac. So I was going to forgo the falcons and do fox.
My question is to all you experts in Jeeps, is this a good route or you recommend something else. I will only be running 35’s. Is there a better lift for the money out there. Thx in advance.

HOws the spring rate is it stiff with no added weight IE bumpers. I plan on do that in the future, so will it hold up to the extra weight when it goes on. In the meantime I don't want it to be a bumpy ride. Remember my wife will primarily be the one driving it.

They're triple rate springs so they ride really nice. I have the Rock Krawler 2.25 RRD shocks. It rides really nice on and off road.

I have the RK 3.5” max travel with the RK 2.25 shocks. I love the ride on and off road and while my girlfriend doesn’t drive the Jeep it’s our primary vehicle and she approves of the ride. She said it rides nice and hasn’t had one complaint. I’ve heard the MetalCloak lifts ride nice. I’m not sure what your price range is but to make it easy I’d match the same manufacturers spring/shock combos If you’re spending a little more I’d pick springs with a rate you’re looking for then have shocks valved to match.

That makes perfect sense. I really don’t have a budget. But do realize that we won’t be doing anything crazy in it that would require a long arm travel suspension. I really like that the RK comes with all the arms needed vs modification brackets.
Doesn’t look like anyone has recommended any other brand so on Monday I’ll be getting a RK for mine. Thanks for all the advice. Can’t wait to get this thing.

I’m on 37’s not the best pictures but you can get an idea of the ride height. I have a sport but with rubicon fenders so it’d be roughly an inch difference in fender gap in the front at least compared to a Sahara. I think the 3.5” and Sahara fenders would be good for 35’s or 37’s.
