Hey guys I appreciate any helpful advice. I'll try to make this short and sweet. I have a cj7 on 40" we do most off road playing on it. In early 2018 I bought my wife a new JLU and put a 2" mopar lift and 37's on it. She currently has about 71k miles on it she does alot of driving and it just still feels like a wagon. Over the last bit we have installed front and rear synergy trackbars, steering brace, falcon steering stabilizer and falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks and new 38" toyo MT's . So steering wise it's better, shocks helped but it still rides rough. Now that it has some years and mileage we would like to do some light trails with the kids in it. So I'm ready to swap to a nice lift.

We are looking for something that rides well on the street yet can play on the weekend and that will clear her 38's well. It also has the inner plastic pulled out of the finders.

Evo 3.5" stage 4 enforcer overland
Or
Teraflex 3.5" ct3
Or
Rock krawler 3.5 ultimate adventure
Or
Suggestions?

Main things we are looking for is
Great road ride
Sit high to clear 38's
Articulate well to play a little on weekends

Thanks guys!!

Also I have searched alot of threads just didn't feel confident in 1 lift or the other. Most people do 3.5" lift and 37's. I would like to clears these 38's pretty well. Thanks guys if I can figure it out I'll try to post the way her current setup is and measure from the ground to top.

Also for good road manners how important is it for the kit to have the control arm drop brackets like the evo and teraflex have?

I though I had read RK sit a little low?
Ever considered gutting flares? Here’s a couple 3.5” lifts with plenty of space for 38s. @Roky (RK) and @Headbarcode (MC). Mike is running 38s on his.

They do tend to settle a little depending on weight. If you have the inner fenders pulled I doubt you will have any issues with 38s. I run the 3.5" X-factor with bigger 37s (Nitto Trail Grapplers) and I only had to do a little massaging of the inner fenders.

Not many on here would recommend running LCA drop brackets.

If you're going to wheel it I wouldn't want anything to do with that low-hanging fruit. That's just me though.

EVO has a plush ride, I started with these and ended up with rock krawlers because of the weight. If you have pretty stock jeep the EVO will give you a pretty soft ride.

IF you can actually get them to send you a complete kit. EVO has great ideas but terrible execution/customer service.

I really appreciate the feedback so far guys! She currently has the soft top on but if I measured and estimated correctly from the ground to where I think the top of the hard top would be is 75.5"

Well sh!! You already have gutted the flares :). Should have no issue with 38s and a 3.5.
