@JeepCares is there no solution to this? Why are there sooooo many threads that all have the same problem, and not a single one with a solution? I didn't spend the extra money on a Weather Package with convenience features that don't actually work..

My exact experience this morning:

Jeep is parked in garage over night. Used remote start first thing in the morning, the heated steering wheel, seat did not turn on. Car displayed 46 degrees in the dash, so I guess thats fine since its not low enough to trigger it.

Within 2 minutes of departing, the temperature then changed to showing 17 degrees. I then arrived at a gas station for a fill up. Before shutting off the Jeep, I made sure to notice that the temp still said 17 degrees. Shut off the Jeep, began to fill up.

Once filled and paid about 5 minutes later, used the remote start before entering. Entered the vehicle, heated steering wheel and seats were on, dash still showed 17 degrees. Great...

Arrived at work, took note that the temp is STILL showing 17 degrees. Parked the Jeep outside for the day.

7 hours later when leaving the office, the outside temp was 14 degrees outside. Used the remote start on the Jeep, then headed towards it to get in. SURPRISE - No heated seats or steering. Dash is again showing the temp as 46 Degrees????

@JeepCares Whats the deal with this??? I spent the money on remote start to actually heat the vehicle before getting in. This is useless at this point.

@JeepCares my worry is that I’m going to waste my time brining this into my dealer, where they will not find anything, because this is a repeated issue that seems to be brought up ever since 2018…and there is not one single report of a solution. Not 1. So please tell me why I would go to my dealer rather than say pushing through you to get it solved?

As promised, here is a picture of my dash panel showing the outside temperature after having remote started my JLUS and allowing it to run approximately 10 minutes. The outside temperature was in the upper 20s F. It will return to an accurate outside reading after I drive it a few minutes.

I heard living in Virginia could be Hell but now we have proof.

Back on track now:
I believe the issue was caused by an update to the radio. My Gladiator did the same thing the other week. I turned the heated seats on that night and the seats were nice an toasty the next morning. You might want to try that or manually cycle the seats and see if it happens the next morning. I would bet the update left something in a weird state. Maybe @JeepCares can get an answer about the update.
