I have a 2018 jlu rubicon, I've had the tazer installed for the last 5yrs. I've had some problems with it, most notably the turn cam feature was keeping my stereo on after jeep was off. I think they may have fixed it in a later update but i just turned that feature off. A year or so ago i had an issue passing smog test and the dealer replaced the pcm. I'm not sure if the tazer was married or not at the time. Recently i had a parasitic draw and i unmarried the tazer and took it out to see if it might be the problem. I'm noticing even with the taxes unmarried the Jeep still has a lot of the features on like no door ding, no tpms, and some other things. I'm wondering if the tazer programming got transferred to the new pcm and are now permanently programmed in the Jeep. Is that possible? I was wanting to remarry the tazer and start from scratch but i didn't know what the stock settings were anymore.

Suggestion ... you can marry a new Tazer, change the features, uninstall the Tazer without un-marrying it, and some of the features will remain behind and active. Pull up the manual and see if the "left behind" features in the manual match what you're seeing.

Plug the Tazer in to your Jeep and see if it's still active or if it asks you to marry the Tazer. If it's still active, you're golden.

If it asks you to marry the Tazer, I'd go out on a limb and marry the Tazer, then unmarry it and head to your computer. First bring up the ZPU software app and plug in your Tazer. Click update and recover - seems backwards, but that was their instructions when I had problems - then reinstall the latest firmware. Head back to your Jeep to marry the Tazer. Change your settings to what you want to control.

If you're uncomfortable with any of the above, TEXT the support group ... phone calls aren't answered, e-mails can take a couple of weeks, but texts get through in a reasonable time. Fully list your vehicle make, model, and year (they make electronic boxes for other than jeeps) (VIN number wouldn't hurt), explain your problems in detail. Also include the serial number of the Tazer and the installed firmware update number ... current is 11.4.7

Good luck ...

2024 Rubicon here, running the Tazer JL Mini.

The turn signal cam and tire size adjustment are all I use this thing for, and the results with the turn signal are less than stellar.

I'd say, 1 out of every 10 times, either the camera doesn't fire OR it doesn't turn off when the signal returns to neutral position (and then I have to "reboot" the car at the next stoplight to get things back to normal).

I've contacted support multiple times and have been told to flash the unit, make sure I'm on the latest firmware, un-marry/re-marry, etc. Nothing has helped.

make sure you choose the rt screen size for the radio you have, the turn cam feature only works correctly if you have the rt size screen selected. When i first tried it it would keep my radio on after the Jeep was turned off sometimes, i think they fixed it with as later update but i stopped using it.

I got mine and got it installed (Thanks 4 wheel parts!)
I have the same issues with the turn signal, so it's not just you... sometimes I gotta turn it on again and off to get it to turn off. I wish the "X" on the corner let you close it so I can see my nav... almost wish it was a smaller window not full screen but that's likely a Jeep uConnect limitation.

i found the Turn Signal Cam to be one of the Minis flakier features.

but since i'd rather keep my head up and paying attention to what's going on outside of the vehicle while driving instead of looking at the dash, i don't use it/don't miss it.
