Installed the taser Jl on my jeep the other day. All went well. All the settings worked and did the reboot and let the jeep go to sleep twice. All good. Only issue I’m having is my exterior temp gauge on dash is saying it’s 118 degrees out and it’s actually only in the 70’s today. Did I screw something up? I’m gonna go through all the settings again later but don’t recall seeing a temp setting in any of the selections

This is normal on a full reboot, the temp gauge is reset and starts off reading super, super high. After driving it for a while, it will read the right temperature. No worries.

After my main battery died and I replaced it my temperature gauge was reading -60 some days and then 150 on other days. It corrected itself in about three days. These computers are crazy

Thanks for all the replies. I was sort of freaking out there for a bit. Just pulled it out of the garage and it still said 118. Got a block from my house and back to 74. So all good. The taser is awesome! Changed the tire size, tpms readings and start/stop off feature is what I wanted it for. Al! The other settings I got to change were just a bonus. Well worth the $$!

Agreed ! Do not forget to check the live settings that you can map to your steering wheel cruise buttons (you can map 3 of them). Note: the ones I have mapped are: rpm increase for winch use, sway bar disconnect (for Rubicon, disconnects sway bar in 2WD, 4WD - all speeds), and "Rock Crawl" (I have a stick shift, so, this allows me to lock the tires on a boulder when I put the clutch in and stop and want to re-start without rolling backwards).

Just remember it is always the Tazer's fault! Until you figure out it has nothing to do with it.

Never said it was. Just never happened until I installed it. Once someone posted that it’s normal I was fine. Now to go back to discount tire because the tpms sensors aren’t working. It’s not the taser on this one. They worked when I first got the wheels on but stopped all together today. I even went in the taser and made sure I didn’t turn them off, but nothing. So I turned them off for now just so I don’t have a light on dash
