I'm the second owner of my 2022 JLU Sahara (2.0L engine) with around 33K miles. On my first trip, I noticed a tapping sound that seems to be coming from the engine compartment or possibly dash area. It's a metallic tapping sound that only happens: 1) when the transmission is in gear, 2) when decelerating, and 3) when the engine speed is around 1600-1700 RPM. Which sounds like a nitpick because I rarely notice it in normal driving, but it's very noticeable when coasting down a hill at certain speeds.
I've attached a video just after accelerating and I let off the gas--noise starts at 5 seconds (and you'll need to turn the volume up a bit to hear it).
Any guesses on what it might be? I'm taking it in to the dealer tomorrow morning, but I'm fairly certain they're going to send me home next week saying they couldn't reproduce the issue in the parking lot.
Thanks!
