Taillight Brackets

Hey guys!

I busted the little plastic tail light bracket wheeling Sunday (got hung up on a rock at the mall). I'm having a hell of a time finding it alone (as in without the full tail light).

Has anyone run into this, or know where to find one!

The taillight itself is fine.

Any tips to get the bracket reinstalled, doesn’t look like it will fit in the bolt access cover hole

The white nylon bolt threads into the housing from inside the Jeep. Your tail light housing and bracket which installs from outside the Jeep should look like this.

This is the piece I broke, it goes in the jeep and it’s what holds the bolt in

I ordered one I’m just not sure how to get it back in there without taking a lot of the plastic rear end off, I do t believe it will fit in the access hole for the bolt

Ok I’m no help there. I’ve only removed and replaced the tail lights but not that specific piece.

Were you able to get it in. I have broken the exact same part. Hoping not to have to remove a lot of rear plastic. Any advice would be great.
