Just finished my tailgate storage set up. It's a bit of a pain threading straps through the slots in the plastic cover. I'll be looking to add a proper fold down table soon.

It’s not my style with the big logo but I do like how much Molle Doc Pluto n there.

I have the Mopar one and would strongly recommend.

Yeah....the big logo is gone and for good reason. Now the back plate serves as a huge area to mount other stuff as well. All you need is an imagination, a drill and rivet-nuts. The only limiting factor is that items mounted between the back panel and the table need to be less than 1.5 inches thick.
I did need to widen the spacers behind the table a bit to accommodate the M6 riv-nuts but otherwise it is pretty straight forward.

Sorry man!! At the time, we thought that it would be necessary to have something there to properly vent the tailgate. It turned out that the gap on the sides provided enough airflow.

As a side note, now that we have kind of figured out the the back plate.....I am working on making a riser so you can have MOLLE bags in place AND a flat surface on the table for things like food prep and possibly even camp stoves.
