Simple (maybe dumb) question that I noticed when installing a EZ-trunk in my 2023 2 door, does everyone’s trunk bow out in the middle? Assuming from looking at it it looks like it should be straight but wasn’t sure if this was due to the spare or something else I wasn’t thinking of? Just wondering since when I close the trunk door the sides hit the EZ-trunk lip pretty good, still closes

1000% normal. It’s designed that way to push in on the sides of the lower rear window seal and not put too much pressure on the center of the window at bottom when cargo door is closed.

Yes it’s supposed to be that way by design.
Now delete this post before the a-holes show up.
I dunno, I'm one of those A-holes, but I think that question is legit... I can see where if a person hung a bigass ol' spare on his tailgate and saw that, he'd have a question.

On the other hand, if he were to have a freak out because he couldn't decide on Tuscadero or Snazzberry, I'd have to flame TF outta him.
