The topic doesn't bother me enough to think about it for more than a second. Just throw some plasti dip or spray paint over the logo you want to cover. Not that big a deal and you'd sing a different tune if you were the one selling the product and wanted your name associated with a product.

Not if potential customers choose a competitor without an obnoxious laser-etched logo even though they otherwise liked your product more. I think that's the whole point of this thread.

Here's a real example of a tacky/hideous, billboard type logo on an offering.

Giant white lettered logo and no clean way to remove or hide the unsightly logo.

No way would I install these floorliner's in my vehicle.. Not even if I received the offering for free..

Depends on the company I guess. Would you feel the same if it was the AEV logo with the bison instead of a cheap chinese company logo ? I know it would change my feelings towards that product.

I just don't care for billboard type logos or logos in general. They look like chitt..

Whether on an el-cheapo Chinese floorliner offering or a top notch well fitting, set of floor liners.....

An offering from a USA company or Chinese, etc..... I will do my best to avoid an offering by a company that has a logo.

I'm not the only guy/gal that feels as I do. Most don't want a vehicle with various logos all over the vehicle.... like a patch work quilt assortment of logos on a vehicle.

Thankfully, with some offerings, you can hide/coverup/remove the logo. Thankfully, some manufacturer's do not have their logo on an offering..

Prime example of a tacky logo..

I purposely will look for products with no logo's that take up half of the accessory. I am having the Amp XL steps installed and the first thing to come off is their metal glued on logo. Those mats above are absolutely hideous with that billboard. Even if you used brake cleaner to remove the white lettering (Assuming it's not rubber cast) the big rectangular space would but the crap out of me. I also look for mats that do not have too much tire tread pattern or other things that make it harder to clean.

I'm still trying to debadge my wheels. The dirty life logo looks plasticy and cheap. But to remove it, you have to apparently remove the entire wheel soooo.... and bc the lettering is raised, I can't just cover it up. Suggestions welcome but I have no interest on riding around with 'dirty life" all over my jeep. Logos make sense, but shld be removable imo. By far the most worthless badge on a jeep is the "unlimited" decal. It's so unnecessary and the first thing I remove.

If these are anything like the Method wheels there’s a retainer wire that circles the inner edge and locks it in the wheel. I changed mine out b/c I didn’t like the ones that came with my wheels also didn’t want to remove the wheel to install the new ones. I wasn’t keeping the old center caps so I drilled a hole in the center of the old ones and used that hole and a phillips head screwdriver to pry them out. Took like 5 minutes.

I’m proud of my Jeep Wrangler Sport freedom edition. Just because my Jeep doesn’t say rubicon across the side of the hood doesn’t mean it is any less a Jeep than yours. Ain’t no space in this place for hate, yo! ??
Haters got to hate, however....

And how about those dealerships that stick their name and location right to the paint on the rear of some vehicles. I've never had that happen to me, but I see them all over the place - they look awful! No way I would allow that on a new vehicle of mine! And the same goes for those dealer advertising license plate frames, and tire covers!
I write into every contract no dealership badging bs
