I'm dead set on getting either of the two vent mounts for my cell phone.

Tackform appears to use two screws to clamp onto the vent. It looks like Offroam uses one. Are there any other differences?

I'd sure appreciate anyone sharing their actual experience with either of the two.

Thanks!

I bought the offroam one and I like it, easy install. I chose this type of mount to basically blow cool air on the phone since my phone was getting hot using maps for navigation. Either way I like the mount.

Offroam uses a single screw & two guide pins - this way you don't have to worry about periodically checking that both screws are equally tight so you won't risk losing the mount. Offroam has the rubber liner contained within a groove so it won't ooze out over time or mark up your air vent. Offroam phone holder is made for vehicles, not motorcycles, so the spring holder can be opened with one hand.

I bought the Offroam and liked it so much I added a 2nd one for the passenger. Holds great even offroad and hasn't loosened up at all after a year of use.

I have tackform on another rig, may change it on my Jeep as well. Really like the integrated track design. This design allows to add or change around your mounts quickly without the need of removing the base plate like on my bulletpoint mount. On the bulletpoint, any time you want to add or modify your mounts, the base plate needs to come off.

Sorry not familiar with the other mounting solution you mentioned. I use mounts for the following in each rig:
Phone
Gopro
mic
tablet
