Tachometer dash crack

Has anyone experienced this before? Got in my Jeep and noticed a random crack in the driver tach dash. Was never there before.

Must have been a stress riser on edge during install. A nick or something that reacted to a temperature change maybe. That is really odd to me at least. I would hope a warranty fix is in order.

Went to the dealership today to confirm. They are ordering the part and replacing it under warranty. No questions asked. Sounded like it’s a common issue.

you know just put little green sticker over it that says >> proud to be Irish << you will feel just fine

What’s surprising about that crack is those gauge covers are usually plastic not glass

the Wrangler has glass gauges ? that would be back in the 50s , it's a life hazzard to have glass gauges
