2018 Jeep JLU Rubicon 3.6L AT, Electronic SwayBar
Having issues with an error code on my dash which says Swaybar Disconnect Not Available. I have done some troubleshooting:
Any ideas? I'm not much of a electrical trouble shooter but I do have a bit of diagnostic equipment, multimeter, circuit tester and power probe.
Any help much appreciated. Don't want to go down a rabbit hole of replacing expensive unavailable parts for no reason if possible.
Having issues with an error code on my dash which says Swaybar Disconnect Not Available. I have done some troubleshooting:
- Put it in 4 high and pressed the pressed the sawy bar button.
- Made sure the jeep was level and tried again, also stretched out the suspension to see if it would work.
- Checked the fuse called 'Smartbar', It's intact and seated properly
- Removed the sway bar and the gearing and sliders inside are clean and well lubricated, looks new inside
- Separated the electronic module and hooked it back up to the wiring, pressed the sway bar button, nothing changes. Also depressed the electronic sensor on the motor while pressing the sway bar button.
