Surround sound tab?

I've got the Alpine system with the subwoofer. I've upgraded the speakers but I'm still not happy with the sound. I was searching through my manual to see if I can adjust the subwoofer and I stumbled upon something called the surround sound tab which I definitely do not have. Do I need an update? Can I adjust the subwoofer output?

I was actually looking for that too the other day. Had it in my '15 Hellcat and '17 Ram. Don't see it on the Jeep.

My manual has no reference to a surround sound tab. pages 517 & 546 reference "if equipped."
The user guide references a surround sound button, also "if equipped." The only way to adjust the sub is thru the EQ bass setting.

It's not necessarily easy and takes some time, but adjusting the bass EQ up and the others down a bit, with a little tweaking of the fading front/rear, can achieve close to what you ask, but it also depends on the source your using for testing, not every song will have be the same.

Just out of curiosity, what did you replace the other speakers with and which ones? Coming from a B&O system, I feel like the Alpine could be a little cleaner. And no surround option for me either.

The Alpine sub is a sad little shallow sub with not much potential. I stuffed it with polyfill and that seemed to help some, but definitely lacks any punch.

I also getting a weird vibration from somewhere in my steering column that drives me crazy. I'd love the delete that.

I've looked at the Dart speakers but hadn't seen anyone that had replaced the Alpine speakers. Good to know they are an improvement.
2 speakers in the top of the dash, 2 about knee level, and 4 in the roll bar.

You're getting the Charlie Brown Teacher Syndrome. Search Charlie Brown here... Several ways to resolve. Dealer should also be able to address this.

I think...that rattle is coming from a connector into a module under by the OBDII port. I corrected mine as described in this post...wire tie putting tension on that set of wires/connector.
