I just purchased my brand new 2024 Rubicon X V6 manual with sky roof end of August. Loving it so far. New wheels and Mopar lift will go on it next week. Only issue I’m having so far (apart from the appalling fuel consumption) is with the surround sound system. My front left speaker keeps dropping out like it is getting ready to give navigation guidance or a notification, when there is no navigation in use or incoming notifications. When the speaker drops, it affects your hearing sensory and driving pleasure. I’ve even transferred the speakers to the back left, back right, and front right when this occurs. All work. But front left nothing. I’ve seen several others discussing this issue. Does anybody know how to fix this? I don’t want my new car ripped apart at the dealership on some exploration mission. Appreciate advice how to fix this. I feel it’s a software issue, but the dealership and Jeep are playing dumb.

Here’s an update if anybody can help. Speaking to several car audio shops for their advice, I was still left in the dark that could be causing this issue. Today I made several short trips with my phone turned OFF. Problem solved. As soon as I turned my phone back on, problem returned. Therefore it must be an Apple CarPlay issue with the UConnect5 system. I went to my notifications on the phone and turned everyone off. But still the problem remained, although less frequent drops. Does anybody know what would be causing this issue? I have the latest update on my phone and my Jeep dealer confirmed my software in the car is the latest as well. Your help to resolve this annoying issue will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the solution. But my android based Linkswell in my truck does the same thing with my Samsung S22. Even just touching the screen causes it.

Sorry to hear you have issues too. Apple just released another iOS update. I’ve got the latest updates on everything, but still the problem exists. Turn the phone off, issue goes away. Now it’s going to be a tennis match between Apple and Uconnect 5.
