Is this normal? I’ve been hunting down a rattle for longer than I’d like to admit. And just found it. I tightened the bolts on both sides of the visors driver and passenger side. But it still rattles even after tightening. And I’m afraid to tighten them more.

Maybe take out the two screws and check if the plastic pivot sleeve is broken.

Yes it's normal. I put different screws in place and it still rattles. I'm going to add some washers to see if that fixes the issue.

It’s a ‘25 with 14,500miles. The passenger side doesn’t even get used. And it’s rattling where it clips in on that side and at the drivers side on the spot where it usually breaks. I want to take it to Jeep so they’ll fix it under warranty but that is never convenient. Just last Saturday I bought a ‘25 JLUR and the SOT button came loose and slipped back into the housing. Took it back Sunday and they’re like it’s got a warranty don’t worry. I’m not worried. I’m pissed that I just bought this thing and I’m already back with an issue. That’s not going to be fast and I’ll have to get a rental. Not something I want to do with a car that had 17 miles on it when we left and 42 when I brought it back for the button issue.

They make all sorts of aftermarket fix kits, that take care of this specific issue. If you go the warranty route, it just gets fixed with the same crap parts.
