We always run studded snows in winter on all vehicles.
One issue... studded Hakka for Wrangler Rubicon X, are rated for something like an 80psi inflation level.
Door frame is 37 psi, or thereabouts. I have been running them at 48psi. Still ride is firm and can get squirrelly
on hard pack snow & ice.

Any thoughts on whether it would be inadvisable to run these tires at 37psi? Some folks say run and door jamb specs, or 37psi. Some say that you cannot go below a certain percent of the tire rating, in this case 80psi.

80 is the max that they're rated for before exploding. Don't do that. Door jam is what Jeep specifies, but most people here run lower pressures on road.

My Jeep is wearing its studded General Grabber Arctics as I type this post.

I maintain the Winter footwear at 37 PSI, which is the same as what the factory recommends for the stock tires. If the actual or accumulating snowfall in which I'll be driving calls for it, I'll reduce the pressure to 30 PSI, +/- 2 PSI. That adjustment, coupled with a disciplined right foot, has proven an effective M.O. to keep the vehicle pointed and moving in the desired direction.

Same as Heimkehr, and I'm running 35" studded Hakka LT3s.
