I figured the keyword alarms were working. They certainly seem to be working for Mark Dodge.
Some times... and then sometimes I find stuff I missed from months ago. I seem to be lucky lately.
And then sometimes I get an alert and I have to read through 40 pages before I find the actual mention LOL. Good times had by all.

Hi Todd,

We recommend scheduling an appointment with an authorized dealership in your area. If you need extra support, please send us a private message and we can connect you with a case manager.

The dealer responded as follows:
"Tech said no fuel smell or leaks found." "He did not smell anything through out the drive and he inspected and found no leaks. Also there is no evap codes in system."

They are not doing any further investigation despite me telling them it only occurs at above 90°F. It is not currently warm enough to repeat the issue. I have sent you a direct message to request putting me in touch with a case manager for extra support.

I know it's an old thread but curious if you've ever found the cause of the problem? I have a 2024 JL Rubicon 3.6 and experiencing the same gas smell inside the cab only when above 95 ambient temperatures and 2+ hours of driving. It only has 8,000 miles.

Pretty much found out its probably coming from a gap in the tailgate air flaps from a wire I have going through there. When recirc is on, it creates a suction, pulling exhaust and fuel odor I to the vehicle. More gas smell when it's hot due to gas expansion and more fumes. A few minutes with recirc off usually clears it. Check to make sure those vents are clear, or just cycle recirc when you notice it.

OMG. @Surfarch You have saved me countless hours of research and frustration! THANK YOU!!! I just installed a new carrier for my 37 inch tires and ran 4 wires through the tailgate flaps so there is a huge opening now. I also have a small hole in the body to the left of the tailight near the tailgate that I drilled. I'm going to seal both now!
