A special thank you to @brewski for his post in the how-to section of these forums. He did a stellar job writing up instructions on installing these fender flares. It was a 20 minute job with the first 15 minutes being figuring out how to install the first flare and the remaining 5 doing the other 3.

Yes, I’m really happy with it. I wasn’t looking for anything too crazy bright or I would have went with the Baja Designs Squadrons or the same Diode Dynamics lights in Pro or Max. I like that these are DOT approved and they are brighter than the stock LED’s. So for me, the Sports were plenty bright. Keep in mind that we live in sunny CA, so snow, rain and dust storms are not something we have to worry much about, unless we purposely seek it out. If I lived in another area or thought I’d encounter that a lot, I’d definitely want something with more output.

As I write this, I realize that I was assuming you were talking about the regular fogs. But if you are actually asking about the LED’s on the Oracle skid plate, I love them too. It’s also not crazy powerful, so the same holds true with what I said about the Diode’s, but I think it just looks so damn cool and it works great in combination with the regular fogs. For daily driving in the city and an occasional off-road adventure, these are great. Eventually, I’m planning on adding on some Baja LP6 or KC Flex Era 4 lights to the cowl and/or bumper. That’s where the heavy artillery lighting will come from, but I’m still debating.

Next, I ordered the 4xe badge for the back of the Jeep and removed the ā€œeā€. It fit perfectly into the indentation of an ā€œeā€ on the charging port and it added just the right splash of blue.

I really like the e on the charging cover. Would you provide a link where you ordered the badge? Thanks!

You seem as bad as I am regarding attention to details :)... With this said, unless it's already done, or too late, go get the front part of you rear fenders covered with thick 10mil PPF. Too late if you already have rock chips on them.

I haven’t put on any additional PPF on the fenders. I know it comes with some on there from the factory but I’ve been thinking about protecting the hood and now the fender.

One of the reasons I added on the XR fender flares was to help protect the Jeep from rocks Getting flung up the side. I’m also installing the Rockslide Engineering Step Sliders, and they stick out about 4ā€ from the stock Rubicon sliders, so I’m thinking that will give additional protection.

Of course, we don’t need to spend a bunch of money on a Jeep and mods and then cheap out on protection, so that’s now on my list!

Well, I can confirm that the XR flare extentions might help a little, but don’t do the job. And with the offset of the wheels, a 4 inch step won’t cut it either.

Sold! Where do I send my check?
Lol…. Make sure you get the 10mil thick one. I had the 6mil and while it did its job protecting the paint, it had multiple gashes and a few little ā€˜ā€™rips’’.

Had the installer replace it with 10mil and ran an equivalent dirt road. While there were a few rock hit marks, they were gone to following day because the film healed itself likes it’s supposed to.
