This is my Second Jeep...2019 Sahara and my last one was a 2012 I had several Stickers on the body panel...but only places where it has been...my new one will get some...but now any stickers i put on will be on the rear side glass...

I put MOST of mine on the back window and the DRIVERS SIDE REAR WINDOW--you don't use that one when driving, so it's OK !

I only have two stickers so far on my back window. A Nine Line Apparel sticker (because I support their message of being relentlessly patriotic) and a Come and Take It sticker (because I'm originally from Texas). They are both white, offer a clean look, and can be easily removed later on. I will probably add some other stickers at some point in time if they fit with the motif. Or, maybe I'll start to add location stickers like yourself on the back side window. My opinion on your situation? Add the stickers you want regardless of whether or not your Jeep has been there or not. It's a memory and a conversation starter. Be your own person and screw everyone else. Your girlfriend will/should respect you more for that.

I'm not a big sticker guy (have 2, oval magnet from tourist town where I grew up above license plate, and a KC lights sticker on inside of tailgate), but that said, I kinda like the location ones.

In the sports car world, the discussion was always can you put a sticker on a car of a track if you've merely visited that track, not driven it. So for instance, I've been to Mid Ohio a couple times, doing some corner work and such, and I've got a sticker from there, but I'd never put it on my sports car because I haven't DRIVEN Mid Ohio. But if I had, I'd have no qualms about putting the sticker on my sports car, regardless if I drove that car on the track or not, that's not important.

So on this one, my view is as long as YOU drove the trail (or visited the destination or whatever) then a sticker is absolutely fair game, regardless of which vehicle you drove in.

But yeah, all my other stickers go on my work bench or toolbox.

I use BLACK HOOD ANTI-GLARE/WHEEL DECALS/EQUIPMENT DECALS--

Just try not to make the jeep look like a FLY-FISHING HAT !

I’m curious what the popular opinion is since my GF and I disagree.

When it comes to putting souvenir stickers from a certain place on your Jeep, do you think the Jeep itself has to have been there, or is it enough that you were there? I’ve gone a lot of places, but it seems a little silly that I “CAN’T” put a sticker on my new Jeep just because I didn’t own it yet when I went on my trips over the years.

Does the sticker commemorate you, or your vehicle?

I would vote for places your Jeep has been. I only have 2 stickers that I have put on my Jeep for different reasons.

Now my saddle bags on my bike? A different story.
