Hello, I have JLUR 2019.

I was climbing some rocks and suddenly felt like steering wheel had rotated without rotating tires. I suspected that u-joints or something else in steering got broken. I went down in reverse and believe that steering wheel indeed was off the center. I was feeling that reverse guide lines were off and stopped looking on them.

I found nothing broken and sterling wheel perfectly centered once came down to flat surface. I rotated wheel extensively while was driving in reverse down.

Now I’m not sure what has happened. Is it technically possibly that steering wheel slips and rotates without rotating tires ? Is it possible that it self center once you rotate it extensively left and right ?

Thank you.

No is the simple answer. If you happened to hit the tie rod or drag link on something they could banana and cause some weird feelings in the wheel. They aren't going to straighten themselves out but might be worth checking over.
