If your OE one is still good, then you are good. If its worn, you can pick one up for very little or even free. If you want to spend money just to feel good, sky is the limit. Get two if you can.

Hydro assist can be had for $1,000.

I’ve got the Falcon through shaft adjustable one and wouldn’t want to be without an adjustable one. I run it on firm for hiway road trips and on medium for normal day to day run around. The firm setting on the hiway definitely makes it steer much better with way less wander and reaction to wind gust, tractor trucks and road imperfections.
Just another thing I can forget to adjust while airing down or up, just like my shocks. :P

Both of mine still have the stock one, but that is what I would upgrade to, were I to upgrade.
Last week, we spent half a day out on the trail with an Apex Through Shaft Ram kit and WOW! What a difference it makes with 37s at low pressure and we haven't even installed the Apex Boost kit yet (yes, we did it backwards, but on purpose).

It also drives nicer on the street, big potholes hits are so much more controlled.
