Steel Wheels

Looking to put steel wheels on my JLUR. I really like the classic look of them, and I have to also say the price is tempting. I found some that are 17x9 and have 4.75in backspace. I am planning a 3 inch lift with 37x12.50 tires.

What are the disadvantages of steel wheels? I would love beadlocks, but I have to be honest, I would not use them as intended so I cannot justify the cost of them.

No disadvantages really, may weigh a bit more and depending on design might make it harder to see your rotors/brake pads for casual inspection.

The main disadvantages of steel wheels is their limited styling (which you conveniently like) and weight.

The main advantage of steel wheels is that they tend to bend when they take an impact instead of cracking. So if they take a hit on the trail they are more likely to survive it and if necessary, you can often bang them back into usable shape with a hammer or suitable rock. If aluminum alloy takes a hit, they're cracked and DOA.

i like the look i bought some fifteen52 Analog wheels when i had my Gladiator they are aluminum but look like steelies
