There is a slight drain on the batteries from all the electronics when sitting. If the JL is going to sit for a few days or I'm only taking short drives, I'll use a battery tender.

I used to just use one of those roll up solar panels that plug into the 12v socket and that was enough to keep it topped off. Now, I wired up a quick connect to a tender since I started parking in the garage all the time.
