We have a 3 inch lift from Fabtech on our Jeep, but the front driver spring is really bowed. I bought their spring correction pad and also got them to send me a replacement spring. Fabtech customer support has been top notch btw. Great people that really are helping.

My question is, when I called and asked them about the best way to install, they said to put the new spring in with the correction pad. When I asked about putting a correction pad on the driver side (that is not bowed) they said not to do it. I thought ide read in several places that if you put one in, to make sure and put both, even on the one that is not bowed

What’s everyone and @Fabtech Motorsports thoughts on this? One or both correction pads?

Anyone have any info on this?
That looks like an upper isolator issue…. Is the correction pads they’re giving you for the bottom, or are they replacing the upper isolator ? Also can you post pic of the other side?

I would follow fab techs’s instructions. One reason is generally there is a slight lean so only putting it on one side helps correct that

I defer to Tech on this, I am guessing their thinking is that since your driver side isn't bowed, no need to "fix" a problem that doesn't exist.

Install sheet, we offer a plate for the top as well

Understood….. that bow in pic just looks like the upper isolator isn’t clocked right…. Also if your springs are flush on top and don’t have the tail of the spring sticking up like oem, then the tapered oem isolator will cause a bow….but I can’t see the top of your springs clearly to see how they are….

I can get a picture if you want but the other spring is perfectly straight and centered. No issues at all.

We thought that too (we as in me and the guys at the shop), but there is no lean at all. The Jeep is perfectly level.

Thanks. I just wanted to be proactive on this, I'm sure the shop will give you guys a call before doing any work.
