Spent some time on the Bronco forums

You guys are right. They really can’t stand anyone saying the Bronco is anything less than awesome. One dude posted some concerns after an extended Moab test drive and they basically laughed at him.

I don’t get it. The Bronco is a nice competitor to the Wrangler. It has already “given” us the 392 and XR. And personally, I’ll wheel with anybody who doesn’t wheel like an asshole. In fact, the more diversity in rigs, the better.

I wonder if some of these folks aren’t just shell shocked after a year+ of being abused by Ford. But they gotta chill. It’s a great big world. Lots of nice options out there.

i find the same sort of attitude on the jeep boards too, its people and they pick their fav and defend them to the end ! I see it on the F150 board when i had my F150, saw it on truck diesel sites, etc

Probably, what, 10% of the members actually have one. The rest are waiting or just fan boys that are dreaming.

Kinda like talking to an Alabama fan, more likely they are blood related to their wife than have a degree from there, but they'll defend the team to their grave.

The nice thing about a Bronco is it has been billed as a great off roader. Lite Brite has a vid where they have a lifted bronco on 37s with coil over suspension. All trick stuff with a professional drive and the bronco had tires in the air so often that it was hard to count how many times it happened. note this was with a professional driver.

We will start to see a bunch of these kind of pics from the normal bronco driver soon. This pic is from a local off road park here in Michigan. You know the kind of trail that you would just normally drive down in a Jeep.

Yesterday, for the first time ever, I saw a Ford Bronco on the road "in the wild". It was a mustard/orangey color. I think they call it "cyber orange" but to me it looked more like butternut squash diarrhea. All in all, I have to say, the looks and styling were utterly unimpressive and boring. It was an orange box. I'm thinking it won't turn many heads. One plus is that it's still a unique vehicle. I just don't see any on the road yet so this one was a surprise. And I'm not saying this as a Jeep fanboy or anything. I'm not a fanboy. I don't even own a Jeep yet (have one on order) but it really looks like I made the right choice.

this made me laugh way harder than I should've, for reasons I wont say...

when I had my G35 sedan, the forum over there was hate on mustangs and civics mostly, not much could sway anyone otherwise, regardless of how nice the build was.

That is interesting, I saw a red one the other day(the first time seeing a non-sport on the road). I thought it looked good.
