Working on finishing the front end spacer lift for the terraflex spacer kit that has 2 inch front 1.5 rear. I'm basically done w the front now but when I measure I come in at almost 39.5" floor to bottom of xr flare and it was at 36.5 before.

Note:
Installed one side at a time so didn't mix springs

I believe springs are properly indexed

Spacer puck is flush up top and isolator is flush

Haven't yet tightened any of the control arm bolts

I did install the 2" shock extenders

My only thought is that I need to drive it a bit to get the spring to maybe pop up into the factory isolator better? If so, am I safe to do that before torquing the control arms or should I torque anyway and just drive and expect it to settle in over time?

Make sure spring is setting correctly on the puck. It should spin to sit up against a stop on the puck? Tighten before driving. Is it possible you measured different local. Spacer lift should not give more lift than what the puck gives.

I appreciate the reply but come to find out I'm just a tired moron. Went to jack the back up to see if maybe it'd drop when raising the back. Figured well I've got it up might as well throw the jack stands on it.....SONOFA&#^÷^"!!!! Still had the jack stands under the frame toward the front HAHA.

Let this be a psa for anyone installing a spacer lift....don't be me.

Too funny. Glad you didn't try to drive it before catching it.

We should start a thread "Dumb things you've done working on your Jeep".

I'll start. Drove over my creeper after working under my Jeep. Had to buy a new one.
