Looking for a 2" - 2.5" suspension lift for the wife's Rubi. Juts ordered 37" Cooper STT's and 17" wheels, should be here next week. She won't be doing ay hardcore off-roading but would like to do some trails, maybe go to Big Bend at some point or Moab and do some trails.

I didn't realize that new shocks are also needed which is something new to me as this is our 1st Jeep. We were set on the Mopar 2" but then read about the Teraflex being superior albeit more expensive.

Any help would be appreciated on which one of these is the better bet and how much I should pay for install and where we should purchase the kit from or have the shop buy it?

I’ve got the Dynatrac lift on mine and it’s been great so far. DIY install was not difficult or lengthy if you’ve got the tools and skills. @Northridge4x4 is a great vendor to purchase from. Also Geaux Tigers.

Haha on the Tigers, sorry to hear about the loss of your best WR opting out (not really sorry to hear) :) Yea, I am just doing some more research and I think that is where I am going. Price seems great and the reviews seem great as well.

One guy said to get some front lower control arms and a track bar. What are these two components and are they really needed for a wife that will be doing more mall crawling than rock crawling?

Bench is deep. Chase was a beast to be sure, but everyone was a star with Burrow slinging the ball. They’ll just reload with some kid you never heard of that’ll become a star with Myles Brennan. If there’s a season.

Track bar recenters the axle side to side after it shifts a little sideways after a lift. For a 2” lift it’s not really necessary, you won’t notice any difference unless you measure. As far as front lower arms, they are helpful to make steering feel better but again, not 100% necessary. If your steering worsens or feels looser or less responsive after the lift they will help correct that.

Thanks for the advice. Been reading about steering stabilizers. Any need for that? What do you have on yours besides the lift?

If you're looking for something that improves upon the factory ride quality on road and provides even more capability off road, our Overland Plus Suspension System has been a popular option for many! The kit uses Giiro joints on both ends of the control arms, which are not only 100% maintenance free but are able to soak up road noise and vibration on road, while providing all of the flex and misalignment you need to take it off road. Kits are 100% Made-In-The-USA and all control arms and track bars come with our lifetime guarantee against bending or breaking! I'll leave a link if you would like to check it out, feel free to PM me with any questions you have, and discounts are always available for forum members :like:
