So I parked my Jeep at the airport for a 1 day overnight trip. I was in the parking garage at Palm Beach International and some jackass popped my grill out at the bottom and stole my headlights.

seriously didn’t know that was a thing. Not much you can do based on the design and how easy it is to yank out the plastic Jeep grill.

If they want it they will get it! There will just be more damage to deal with.

Sorry to hear that. That sure does suck. Stuff like this is why I got the hood lock. Now I have lights blocking the grill too so you cant pop it out without removing those also.

Wow what a dick move. That super sucks. Is the grill damaged at all?
Grill is damaged a little bit. Two screw holes ripped at the top on the sides and scuffed on the bottom where it hit the tow hooks. Not bad but not happy.

Life's short to be too angry. Go through your insurance if you're deductible is low and file a police report. Maybe they have security cameras.

I've had quite a few people randomly crash into my parked cars and total them. 4 of them within the last couple of years. Cost me a lot of time, money, and patience. I just handled the situations without an expression and moved on. But definitely stay positive and don't let it bum you out. ?

An intentional act of criminality against you should “bum you out”. Doing nothing and filing an insurance claim is why this keeps happening.

The criminals don't even worry about getting locked up anymore. In almost every metro area in the country they get released without bond. And if the theft amount is under $1000 they dismiss the charges.

I'm guessing you didn't have LED tail lights. They can pull those right off without even using tools. Around here they steel LED headlights and tail lights off of Super Duties all the time.

Time to vote all the DAs out of office that belive in this no cash bond and dismissing of misdemeanors BS and replace them with DAs who actually prosecute criminals.

When I lived in Munich my German friends had this advice about driving in Italy: if parking on the street, leave the car unlocked, better yet windows down, it will save broken glass. So much for European "union", I guess.

With you until the last sentence. There are plenty of examples exactly like that in the “United” States.
