My first mod: S-V.4 LED conversion for headlights

Hey guys proud owner of a 2019 wrangler unlimited JL. I noticed the stock halogens aren’t that bright and I watched a video on YouTube of different LED bulbs and decided to go with the SV. 4’s. I’ll get the dog light bulbs and turn signals at a later time but for now got these. Anyone have any luck with these and if so how do you like them? Thanks

When we first started Jeep shopping last summer, I told the salesman at the first dealership we went to that it had to be a Willy's, and it had to have halogen headlights. I hate it when I'm driving down the road and a car is coming towards me with LED headlights. I'm not going to do the same thing to someone else. He looked at me like I had four eyes when I explained my reasoning to him. Oh well. We ended up buying our be Willy's from a different dealer. As for our first modification, put on the Rough Country nerf bars .

I hear ya. I just honestly can’t see that well with the halogens. And yes I have 20/20 vision at the moment but eh what the heck? Let’s see how they are I’ll post pics before and after installation

The SV4s are great bulbs. They have the lighting elements and clocking set the same as the halogens, so they will work well in the factory housings.

A lot of cheap LEDs out there have the elements in the same place on all of the bulbs and require you to figure out how you want them clocked and how deep into the housing to put them. Those are the ones that create terrible glare and are impossible to aim.

LED’s was one of my must have’s when I ordered my JLR. Too many deer trying to commit suicide around here. They’re DOT legal and my safety is most important.
