Bump...to add my dumb@$$ to the list. Maybe I'll try taking the Rubi rockrail off and see if removing the fender bolt allows it drop out.
Luckily I had another T40 in the garage. It's short, only a matter of time before it ends up in the abyss too.
Debating buying a flexible small head magnet tool, or just getting another torx bit or tool kit.
Definitely will cover the gap with paintets tape, or towel, or the toolkit case.

It's like maybe 12 to 15 bolts you need to remove to take off the fender itself, why not just do that?

I mean you could buy some crazy contraptions if you wanted to, but you just remove like five bolts on the pinch weld and it will probably fall right out. 🤨
