Crazy, yea I think its a TomTom software update but I have looked and havent found anywhere to grab new map files.
If you find any information out, please post it here!

I would think you get map updates for a year and then have to pay for them. And I would think it would be OTA. But who knows anymore.

Page 4 provides a link to where you can find files. The earlier pages talk about the process of downloading and loading the files the Jeep.
Highlights: 32GB thumb drive required, MACs do not work, format USB appropriately, and vehicle "ON". I also read you get 4 free updates a year. I will look into attempting this process soon.

Thank you very much for this. I thought we had to pay for the map updates. I received the jeep in July 2025 and it looks like the last update was June 2025. I'm assuming it has the latest, but it's definitely something to check.

Well, I checked and while I took delivery on 07/2025, my "Latest Installed Map Release Data" on the head unit is 01/30/2024. I'm going to try to update it and see what happens. I'll be crossing time zone lines in a month so hopefully it will work properly.

Next issue. How do you stop the head unit from defaulting to the android auto tab even though my phone is set to "Start Android Auto automatically: Default (set by vehicle)". And I think the jeep is set to use the last used screen.

The last issue is the jeep sound for android auto defaults to 15, even though I have it set lower in the settings and I have to re-adjust it every time android auto starts.

But those are all my issues. :) I'm hoping a new update fixes these problems.
