Would anyone in the know explain to me (from a materials design way of looking at things) why we need to be careful to not crease the factory soft top windows, but that it *seems* to be less of a concern with aftermarket soft top manufacturers like MyTop: the electric convertible manufacturer?
Maybe the answer is that either the factory or MyTop windows can lightly fold without damage, but neither fairs well with a hard 180 degree crease.
Or maybe the windows are made with different materials, or not snugly fit on the MyTop product versus the factory (i.e. Bestop) product??
(I appreciate that the JL version of the MyTop hasn't been made available for sale yet.)
Thank you. : - )
