Hi everyone,

I got a 2020 Jl with dual top and just got around to installing the soft top. Unfortunately, the windows (side and back) came out the box with creases/wrinkles.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Blow dryer? Warranty?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Art

Blow dryer will work hot setting just don't leave it concentrated on one spot! If it still does not come out then take it to the dealer and get replacements.

Depends on how bad those creases and wrinkles are, and there's no way to know without seeing photos. In most cases, this is pretty normal for any plastic window that's been crammed into a box for an extended period. Just go ahead and install the windows, let your Jeep sit outside in the hot SoCal sun for an afternoon or two, and they should disappear due to the stretching and ambient temperature. More stubborn creases may require more time, but if you still have them after a week or two, then you may have permanent damage.

Don’t worry about it. The hot sun will smooth the creases out.

Thanks for all the replies. I contacted Jeep cust serv to see if there’s anything they can do since they’re essentially damaged out the box. The creases are pretty prominent.

Agree with the others about the sun, but it is hard to offer definitive advice without seeing the creases. Post some pics when you get a chance, and I'm sure we'll be able to give you better feedback. Glad to assist.
