Hello. I wasn't sure where to place this question and I apologize in advance if it belongs elsewhere,

For those of you who have and use a soft top regularly, how do you store the side and rear windows when these are removed? There seem to many options for the JK/JKU; I find almost no options for the JL/JLU other than the MOPAR storage bag. Even Bestop's window storage solution indicates it is only for the JK/JKU.

Ideally, I would like to carry the windows with me when I remove them. I have found two products that are interesting, but I am not certain either will work. Does anyone have any experience with these? Or, alternately, could you recommend a solution to me?

Here are the options I have found:
MasterTop Soft Top Window Protection Roll: http://www.mastertop.com/products/accessories/
Rightline Soft Top Window Storage Bag: https://rightlinegear.com/jeep-products/jeep-soft-top-window-storage-bag/

Thanks in advance!

Did you by chance order dual tops and if so do you still have the huge but flat box the windows came in, otherwise found in the even bigger mammoth size box that took up the entire area behind the front seats at purchase?

That huge but flat box is great.

I have the Mopar soft top window storage bag, and it's a well-designed and -constructed solution. It includes a strap for securing the packed bag to the rear seats.

Note that rolling the side windows isn't possible. The rear window can be rolled, with some effort and when the lower bar is removed, but damage may occur when doing so and it is expressly not recommended.

With a 4 door, if you have a rear cargo mat you could try fitting the side windows under that mat. That’s what I did with my JKU. It kept them secure and never once did I get a scratch on them this way.

I just use a $50 Rampage bag (model 595101). Side windows fit and I fold the back window but have a pool noodle at the bottom near the crease. Then I throw the bag in the back in my Jeep Backbone security enclosure. My top is down at least 25% of the time and in almost two years, no issues with any back window creasing.

Hey guys!
This is the bag we suggest for the OEM JL top. The fabric on the rear window needs to be folded in a minor amount but the bag hangs nicely from the headrests of the rear seat so you can bring the windows with you when you're out and about. There is a protective layer between all windows.

Check it out here!

@Bestop, Thank you! Just to confirm, this will work with a JLU, correct? Additonally, will this same bag work for your Trektop or Trektop Ultra when I decide to upgrade the soft top?
